5. The key components to make headstand effortless

Hi lovely yogi,

In this video we'll quickly summarise the key components to successfully fly into headstand with ease. You can see these as the essential building blocks. I have categorised them into two sections: muscles to strengthen and muscles to lengthen.

Muscles we want to strengthen:

  • arms

  • shoulders

  • core

Muscles we want to lengthen (flexibility):

  • backs of the upper legs (hamstrings)

  • hips

A balanced combination of these will basically make you a headstand super ninja 😉
